This piece speaks to the reduce, reuse, recycle mantra.  It is also is a metaphor for a simplified and subsistence lifestyle.  The aim was to create a valuable object out of a throw away item, to have an impact on how we view our consumer life choices.

14 x 18 x 1” in.   5 color silkscreened print with water-based ink on tempered hardwood.  Pine wood backed, ready to hang with hanger included on back.  22” red arrow included.  Edition of 55, signed and numbered on back.

Lars Bergquist/No Touching Ground creates artwork as a means to invoke conversation. Recognized best for his style of wheat paste murals, mostly unsanctioned and found within our urban landscapes, he has the ability to bring new awareness to abandoned or forgotten facades and spaces.

Lars has worked National Geographic and Campaign For Nature on their 30x30 project.  He’s worked with social justice non-profit organizations, Amplifier Foundation and Shout Your Abortion.  He has created murals for Bernie’s Wizards, a LA based think tank for Bernie Sanders 2020 campaign.

No Touching Ground has worked extensively in Los Angeles, Seattle, Buenos Aires, Lisbon and Athens.
